Yamaha Nepal – the fastest growing two-wheeler brand in Nepal, has recently been awarded as the Scooter of the Year 2021 by Bike India awards. Yamaha, which is also the pioneer of the FI engine technology, had launched the 2020 edition of RayZR 125FI in September last year in Nepal. MAW Enterprises started its operation with Yamaha in 1975 by importing motorcycles in Nepal and since then, the company has only produced the best bikes for its customers.

The all-new Yamaha RayZR 125FI was launched with major refinements like having the fastest Pickup with 0-60 kmph in just 7.59 seconds and the highest mileage of 58 kmpl and also exclusive features like stop & start system, Side Stand engine cut off switch and lightweight body i.e 99KG. Yamaha RayZR 125 FI is equipped with Fuel Injection technology and the latest in the world BS6 engine.

It has also been styled with a Y-shaped LED position light, a new digital instrument cluster, Smart Motor Generator for a quieter start-up, and a Unified Braking System.

India is one of the biggest markets in the world when it comes to two-wheelers. As such, winning the most prestigious award in India also reflects on Yamaha RayZR 125FI being one of the best scooters in the world market. This award also conveys a very strong message – that there is a high acceptance level of Yamaha RayZR 125FI in India and is most preferred by the consumers. Likewise, there is also a similar growth in the affinity and use of Yamaha RayZR 125FI in Nepal’s context, which can be accredited to the growing preference of this scooter in the Indian market.

“We are delighted to have won such a prestigious award. We have always been confident that Yamaha RayZR 125FI is a path-breaking scooter and to have been awarded Scooter of the Year Award 2021 gives this scooter international recognition, and we are proud of that.”

Mr. Chiranjibi Shah, the CEO of Yamaha motors in Nepal
